(Abstract received after the deadline will not be entertained.)

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR NSCCMCON, CCNANCON - 2025

The Scientific Committee reminds the attendees that the material deemed appropriate for presentation at the conference should have the following characteristics

  • Original and Scientific work (if presented earlier, should provide full details)
  • Any scientific work accepted for publication or published in any journal will not be entertained
  • Accepted abstracts for the conference will be presented in either Oral or Poster session, as decided by the Scientific Committee
  • ALL OF THE PRESENTERS MUST REGISTER for the conference except those communicated about waiver by the scientific committee 

ABSTRACT PREPARATION

 Abstracts submitted MUST adhere to the following specifications:

  • Abstracts should be in English
  • Abstract Should have two pages
    • First Page– AUTHOR Page
      • Title and Author Details including Presenting Authors, Coauthors, and Place of conduct of study, Affiliations. The Presenting Author should be clearly mentioned.
      • Please indicate the designation of the presenter (Resident/Fellow/Faculty/ Consultant).
      • Group the authors together; please write full names of all authors.
      • Please omit academic degrees and titles.
      • Group institutions together, and provide institution names, cities, states/ provinces, and country.
    • Second Page - ABSTRACT Page: Abstract Page Should have only Title and Abstract presented under following headings: 
      • Title; Background; Materials and methods; Results and Conclusions.
      • Abstract Title
      • Title must be in 
      • No abbreviations should be used in the title.
      • Abstract titles must be limited to ten words or less. Titles exceeding the limit will be edited.
      • Do not use capital letters in the title except for words that are always capitalised.
      • For Case Presentations, the headings might be changed.
      • Abstract must be limited to 300 words AND should fit in one page
      • Key words should be listed at the end in an alphabetical order.
      • Abstracts must be formatted as a Microsoft Word Document and with following formatting:
        • Single-spaced
        • Font: Times New Roman, Font Size: 12
        • Page layout: One inch margin on all four sides
        • Payment:There is no fee for abstract submissions.
        • Meeting Registration:Registration for the conference is mandatory to be eligible for presentation.
        • Multiple papers: A speaker may submit more than one paper; but must disclose earlier.
        • Type of presentation: Authors must indicate the type of presentation they wish to make, either oral or poster. However, the scientific committee holds the right to decide the mode of presentation.

Abstract sent in any-other forms rather than email will not be entertained.

Confirmation of Receipt: 

You will receive a confirmation email that your abstract has been received. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 3 working days, please communicate to the above email address. Electronically submitted abstracts will ONLY be considered; mailed or hand delivered abstracts will not be entertained.

Please Note:

  • The Scientific committee editor reserves the right to edit abstracts, if necessary, for clarity, grammar, style, and length for publication in its scientific journal or souvenir.
  • Audiovisual equipment: An LED/LCD projector and microphone will be provided in all session rooms.
  • Laptops: Individual laptops/notebook will not be entertained in the conference room.
  • Presenters will have to provide their full presentation well in advance.
  • Scheduling: Please check the NSCCM website two weeks before the meeting for the scheduled date and time of your presentation.
  • Policy: In accordance with the NSCCM constitution and policy, authors are requested to be sensitive to, and show respect for, ethnic, cultural, religious, and gender diversity.
  • Additionally, NSCCM’s official measurement system is the International System of Units (SI). We recommend that our members and those writing for our publications make every effort to use the SI system exclusively.

ABSTRACT ACCEPTANCE AND PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

 Once the Abstract is accepted, an acceptance letter will be sent to the presenters who shall then provide the following to the scientific committee before:

  • A detailed CV of the presenter;
  • A short biography of the presenter;
  • A letter of clearance from the Institutional Review Committee (IRC) / Ethical Committee / Research Department / Head of the respective institution stating that the study was carried out by the presenter in that centre and the institution does not have any objection if the data or case is presented in any conference.
  • Final PowerPoint Presentation to be emailed.

 For Poster Presentation, the specification and detailed guidelines for the poster will be sent once the poster presentation has been accepted. This could be a printed poster or an e-poster, which will be notified later.

After receipt of the above, the scientific committee will decide and the finalise the list of presentations, along with presentation instructions, which will be emailed to the presenter before December 15, 2025. If you don't receive final confirmation by December 15, 2025, please kindly communicate to the Scientific Committee.
